1. When do we use comparative and superlative adjectives?


 SUPERLATIVE ADJECTIVES: We use the comparative to compare two people,
places or things.
 COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVES: We use the superlative to compare more than two
people, places or things.
2. How do we from comparatives and superlative adjectives?

SUPERLATIVE ADJECTIVE:
 Short adjective + ER.
 CVC + ER (the final consonant is doubled)
 Short adjective ended in –Y  -IER
 Long adjective: MORE + long adjective

COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVE:
 Short adjective + EST.
 CVC + EST (the final consonant is doubled)
 Short adjective ended in –Y  -IEST
 Long adjective: THE MOST + long adjective

3. Describe your favorite actor using comparative adjectives.

My actress favorite is “Scarlett Johansson”.


Scarlett has a twin brother; she is smaller than her brother. She is funnier than her
brother. She is more beautiful.
Scarlett bought a car more expensive than a Ferrary and a house more beautiful than
her brother.

4. Describe your group-mate using superlative adjectives.


My group-mate is Mari
Mari is the quietest in the classroom, just speak to say present. she is the smallest of
all the companions. But she is the kindest.
Mari is the youngest of all. She has 17.
