Dear Colleagues,

We are commencing a trial to establish a new on board pre-flight checklist, which


includes changes to the CA’s responsibilities during the pre-flight check.

Please see the list of the changes:

 Removal of the interphone check from CC stations to the cockpit.


ALL ATTND CALL performed by SCA will remain the same.
 Rephrasing the security search to “interior of all unsealed boxes and
trolleys… “. Sealing procedure is a regulatory recognized process
that we should trust.
 Removing this step of the search will allow us to readjust the pre-
flight checklist in order to have a more balanced division of tasks.

Careful consideration should be given to the Draft Checklist attached to the e-


mail.

The trial Checklists will be placed on board under each and every jump
seat.

Trial feedback forms will be available in the office, so you can fill it in and share
your opinion - please be aware that it should be done after each flight.

All training events will maintain the standard information, as these changes are
only part of the temporary trial.

We are relying on your continued professionalism as crews to see a positive


outcome to this trial.

Please confirm that you are familiar with the content of this crew order, the
attached presentation about the changes and the draft of the checklist, by
signing CISEFA by 1st March 2020.
