RQ: How does the pH of the soil affect the growth of the plant and why?

IV: The pH of the soil will be different for the seeds.


-The plants will also be watered with different pH concentrated water

DV: I will be measuring the physical growth in cm from the soil up

CV:
-Temperature
-Amount of sunlight hours

Brief method:
-Get different pH soils (varying from slightly alkaline to slightly acidic)
-Get the seeds
-Put 3dl of soil in each pot
-Plant seeds
-Have them all in the same spot
-Cover from 8pm to 12am
-Let them grow from 12am-8pm
-Water them with different pH solutions
-Measure at the end of growth period

Species used:
Easter grass or peas

Repeats:
Plant ten of each seed for each pot
With the expected survival rate of 80% you will have 8 repeats of each test
