With reference to our conference call meeting in regard with P2 Initiation held on
15 Dec 2019, following is the data from the month of October till date as required.

Website Traffic

Written and Updated Content on the website in absence of the content writer.
Analysed the keywords, rankings and google algorithm updates on regular basis.
Monthly Website Traffic data is attached.
Social Media:

Regular Posts were designed and shared on Facebook and Instagram.

Instagram followers increased from 8k to 11.6k+.
App Development Work

1. New Update Released (22 Oct): As per the feedback of the users, a Notification
Settings panel was added in App. For this, complete notification system was
upgraded to check the user's prefrences for each type of notification before
sending. This update was rolled out on Play store on 22 October 2019.

2. Firebase Chat Issue: Fixed the issue to excessive downloaded data from Firebase
server due to which the cost of servers was going high. For this, the Frontend (App
side) was optimised to remove all the unnecessary calls to the Firebase server and
reduced the data being sent and recieved during each chat made by the users.

3. Scalability: Connected with senior developers to find the solutions for

scalability and identifying the further technologies to be used on the app. The
final tech stack after taking recommendations from Mr Ramesh and others is as
follows. For the Frontend, React Native will be used and the Backend should be
coded in Node.js along with the Database that should be upgraded to PostgresSQL.

4. Database Migration:

Migrated the Complete database from MySql to PostgresSQL. It included 13 different

tables having data of 17000+ users, 2.5 lac books and more.
Redesigned the database structure and added new tables (ensuring all the data
remains in sync) in order to improve performance of the code and ensure faster
response during high load.
Rewritten complex SQL queries to fetch data from the new PostgresSQL tables in less
time.
5. Backend Architecture:

Coordinated with senior developers and came up with a more scalable backend
architechture.
According this new architecture, we will use two server instances with load
balancers which will route the traffic according to the health of each server.
The Database architecture is now upgraded to Master-Slave configuration. All the
read operations will be made from the Slave database and the write operation will
be done on the Master database.
Created a staging server and implemented the new architecture. Verified and tested
the new architecture for load upto 300 users peak in one second for single API.
Hiring:

Interviewed more than 50 candidates for Android, BDE, Node.js, React Native.
For tech candidates, coordinated with Mr Ramesh and other senior friends to take
the tech round and Code Test.
Hired a candidate for Android Development (left after a week due to personal
reasons).
Finalised the candidate for BDE and Node.js.
Author Program:

We created 7 new pages on the website to fully launch our Author Program.
All these pages have tracking enabled for using the data in Marketing campaigns.
Consulted with Paypal support and implemented Paypal Payments on website. It
includes accepting payments in one click, using Coupon Codes and dynamically
changing to make the payment process easier and available for all foreign authors
too.
Made creatives, audiences and ran Facebook campaign for Author Program marketing.
Did outreach to more than 70 authors personally via different channels (FB,
Twitter) and pitched our services to them.
Converted 3 authors to buy our Author Program package.
Complete schedule for each author made. Book Mockups are created, Author Interviews
are published.
