AGUIAR TOWN OF RIVERHEAD ‘Tel: (631) 727-3200 / Fax: (631) 727-6712 Town Supervisor 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, NY 11901 www.townofriverheadny.gov EXTENDING AND MODIFYING AN EXECUTIVE ORDER DECLARING A DISASTER EMERGENCY No. 2020S0E-4 WHEREAS, by Executive Order ued on March 12, 2020, pursuant to Section 24 of the Article 2-B of the Executive Law of the State of New York, a disaster emergency in the Town of Riverhead was declared and said Executive Order has been continued and modified; and WHEREAS, the current Executive Order 2020SOE-3 will now end at midnight on March 27, 2020; WHEREAS, the confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus continue to rise in the Town of Riverhead and remain a serious threat to health, welfare and safety of the residents and visitors of the Town of Riverhead; and WHEREAS, the State of New York has continued and modified Executive Order No. 202 dated March 7, 2020. NOW, THEREFORE, |, Yvette M. Aguiar, Supervisor of the Town of Riverhead, pursuant to Section 24 of the Article 2-B of the Executive Law of the State of New York, do hereby further extend and modify the Declaration ofa State of Emergency in the Town of Riverhead; and FURTHER, pursuant to Section 24 of Article 2-B of the New York State Executive Law, I direct that the Declaration of a State of Emergency continue as amended: 1, That vital services ofthe Town of Riverhead shal continue, including those provided by the police department, sewer district, water district and sanitation department; 2. That Emergency Operations shall continue; 3. Thatall Town of Riverhead facilites and buildings will remain closed through April 15,2020; 4, Except for those essential personne inthe departments providing vital services, all Town employees shall remain home until further notice; 5.
