INTRODUCTION

Community immersion is a version of service learning that is more

integrated with a student's passions and interests, is longer-term and is

related to the on-going development of community and social justice issues.

It is a service learning that is integrated with a students passion and

interests. This form of learning is a long term learning process that has a

relation to the on-going development of a community social justice issues.

In assessing the adopted community societal issues were discovered

and students come up with a social strategy in bridging the gap of a

ceratain identified community problem through seminars, symposiums

and actual hand on hand actions.

In this, it helps the youth on how to make people more active in the

environment and lead the country to change and solve problems encounter

of our communities. It opens the eye of every youth on the actual situation

which our society encountered. Being concious about societal concerns

puts a feeling of responsiblity on every individual that drives them to make

an action to address those concerns. By this, it helps every youth to develop

their thinking skills, communication skills and mostly leadership skills.

A well known local quote states that "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng

bayan" youth were encouraged people to speak up and looking forward on

how young generation will work for the welfare of the community!!. Lets

work together and make things possible.
