Aviation and COVID-19

The airline industry is one of those making a living on lowest profit margins among
any other industries. Now that's about the airline industry in normal times. Post
Coronavirus outbreak, Survival is the biggest target for majority of the airlines as
50% global fleet is grounded as of April 2020. Some events like Air France getting a
government bailout of billions despite being a string airline are rather shocking. The
industry looks for a quicker bounce-back, one that happens even before the crisis
ends. With that being the only agenda, enforcing social distancing and absolute
safety norms throughout the travel has been on the top of the list. Rest of survival
revenue is supposed to come from Cargo carriers which are doing more than
profitable for two reasons. The demand for movement of essential items and the fuel
price that have hit the rock-bottom. Although Aviation could be easily called as the
worst sufferer of COVID-19 crisis, it's one of those industries with a strongest will and
adaptability known.
