CHAPTER III

METHODOLOGY

This chapter represent the procedures and methods that will be used for analyzing

the data for the study.

Research Design

This research study used the descriptive survey design. Descriptive surveys was

used to determine the impact of information and communication technology on the

operation of business enterprises.

The instrument used by Nyakoe (2014) was utilized to reflect the effect of ICT on

the business enterprises in Camiling, Tarlac.

Respondents

The respondents of this study was 30 business enterprises at Camiling, Tarlac.

Data Gathering Procedure

The descriptive survey method was used in gathering data needed using a

questionnaire.

The researcher asked permission and wrote a formal letter regarding this study.

Upon the approval of the letter, questionnaires was distributed to randomly selected small

and medium enterprises and collected after a specific time. And lastly, after collecting the

questionnaires, data was tabulated and presented in tables based on the information taken.

Data Analysis
The data collected were classified, tallied, and tabulated. The statistical treatments

used in answering the problems formulated in this study were as follows.

Frequency counts and the corresponding percentages were used to determine the

profile of the business and to determine the use of ICT in business operation.

To determine the effect of ICT in business, the percentage was used.
