Good afternoon, all! 

I wanted to take a moment to reach out to you about Communications class. After the first four
and a half weeks of the quarter, I thought that it might be appropriate to give you some more
information about my Communications course. 

First, I want to tell you how excited I am to be a bulldog here at Freedom High School.  It has
been an amazing experience getting to know the other teachers and staff, but my favorite part of
all is the opportunity to get to know each and every one of my students. They are truly awesome
and I am looking forward to learning more about them and their busy lives both inside and
outside of school. 

Many of the students have already signed up to stay informed about the assigned homework and
classwork, but I also wanted to extend the invitation to each of you to join in on receiving the
information for my course. We have three methods of communication: 

1. Remind messaging- the Remind code for RED days is @eskirtichr and the code
for WHITE days is @eskirtichw Please feel free to join this safe app to get the HW information.
This app is like a text message service that is safe for parents and students to join in on. To learn
more about Remind, read about it here: https://www.remind.com/ 

2. Google Classroom- all of the material for my Google Classroom is posted daily with various
assignments, due dates, and other relevant material. The class code is el8g0ac. 

3. My website: All of the material is also posted on my website www.missskirtich.com which

helps the students the keep track of their assigned due dates and other course materials. You can
also find out a little about my background in teaching and other information about me and my
course. 

If there is anything that I can do for any of my students to help them be successful here at
Freedom, please let me know. I have a passion for helping students to become the best version of
themselves as possible, so don't hesitate to reach out to me at any time.
