দিক নেই।

কুরআন এটিকে বিভিন্নভাবে সম্বোধন করে।

এখানে প্রথম:

‫َوإِ َّنهُۥ لِحُبِّ ْْل َخي ِْر لَ َشدِي ٌد‬

"এবং মানবজাতি নিবিড়ভাবে ধনকে ভালবাসে"

এই আয়াতে আল্লাহ তায়ালা মানবজাতির সমালোচনা করেছেন যারা ধন-সম্পদকে এত বেশি ভালবাসে যে
তাদের সত্য লক্ষ্য থেকে তাদের বিভ্রান্ত করে। মজার বিষয় হ'ল আল্লাহ ধীর সম্পদ বর্ণনা করতে খায়ার
শব্দটি ব্যবহার করেছেন। খায়ের মানে ভাল!

প্রচু র মুসলমানরা মনে করে যে সম্পদ একরকম খারাপ জিনিস বা অপবিত্র জিনিস। সম্পদ মন্দ বা ভাল
নয়। আমরা কীভাবে সম্পদ ব্যবহার করি তা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। এটি ভাল হতে পারে এবং এটি মন্দ হতে পারে।

ইসলামের দুটি স্তম্ভের জন্য যথেষ্ট পরিমাণে সম্পদ প্রয়োজন। যাকাত (দাতব্য) এবং হজ (তীর্থযাত্রী) উভয়েই
একজনকে সম্পাদনের জন্য যথেষ্ট ধনী হতে হবে।

এটি সত্য যে আপনার যত বেশি ধনী হওয়ার সুযোগ রয়েছে আপনাকে এটি ব্যয় করতে হবে বা ভু ল
উপায়ে উপার্জ ন করতে হবে তবে সঠিক উপায়েও। এটাও সত্য যে ধনী ব্যক্তিরা জান্নাতে প্রবেশের পক্ষে
সর্বশেষ হবে কারণ তাদের কাছে আরও বেশি জবাবদিহি করতে হবে।

I recently have been reading more about materialism - the belief that we are
only material and do not have a spiritual (immaterial) side.

The Quran does address this in many ways.

Here's the first:

َ َ‫ب ٱ ْل َخ ْي ِر ل‬
‫شدِي ٌد‬ ِّ ‫َوإِ َّنهُۥ لِ ُح‬

"And indeed mankind intensely loves wealth"

In this verse Allah criticizes those of mankind who love wealth so much that
it distracts them from their true goal. What's also interesting is that Allah
uses the word khair to describe wealth. Khair means good!

A lot of Muslims think that wealth is somehow a bad thing or an impure thing.
Wealth is not evil nor good. How we use wealth is what matters. It CAN be
good and it CAN be evil.

Two of the pillars of Islam require a decent amount of wealth. Zakat (charity)
and Hajj (pilgrimate) both require one to be wealthy enough to perform.

It is true that the more wealth you have the more opportunities you will have
to spend it or earn it the wrong way but also in the right way. It is also true
that the wealthy will be the last to enter paradise because they will have
more to account for.
