JOSÉ ARMANDO BAÑOS FIGUEROA

MARIA ISABEL MESA PEREZ

Dialogue

Maria: Hello José, what do you think about the current situation in the world?

José: It is somewhat problematic and unfortunate, but the environment has been the most
benefited from this isolation, what do you think?

Maria: Well, I agree with you because the intervention of human beings is largely the
cause of environmental pollution on the planet.

José: Because what you say?

Maria: If we look at buses, cars, motorcycles and the industries they emit gases that have
a significant impact on the environment.

José: Now that you say industries, I remember that in one of my classes talking about the
tannery process, it was said that this is one of the most polluting to the environment due to
the waste they produce.

Maria: You are right, another example is also the oxidation lagoon that is on the way to La
Paz, which generates enough pollutants and including bad smells.

José: Yes, they are quite strong and filthy smells.

Maria: And not only industries pollute the environment a lot, even some homes without
conscience also contribute to this.

José: You are right, when water is wasted giving it a bad use, even something common
when we see that many people throw garbage in places that they consider to be garbage
cans, when it really is not, since these are places with a lot of vegetation.

Maria: In short, for the environmental situation to change it is necessary that all human
beings to become aware and initiate the change from our homes.
