“A RESOLUTION DECLARING BARANGAY MAMBALILI UNDER THE STATE OF CALAMITY”

WHEREAS, Barangay Mambalili, has suffered big flood due to the effects of LPA at the Northeartern
Mindanao as PAG-ASA spotted and reported at Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, CARAGA Region No. 13.

WHEREAS, as per monitoring and assessment of Barangay Officials, and members of the Barangay
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Purok 1; Purok 2; Purok 3A; Purok 3B; Purok 4; Sitio
Bong: Purok 7; Sitio Hagnaya: Purok 6, Purok 5A, Purok 5B, and Purok 8.

WHEREAS, due to the continuous heavy rainfall overnight that caused Simulao River to overflow along
riverbanks.

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council members presented the facts during the BDRRMC meeting of the
above issues.

NOW, THEREFORE, upon deliberation of the problems, be it:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved that upon consideration for the motion of Hon. Julito F. Narciso, Sr.
and duly seconded by Hon. Francisco A. Franco, Sr. to pass, adopt, and approve a resolution declaring
the Barangay Mambalili under the state of calamity.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that almost Ten (10) Puroks have been affected by floods.

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, designated evacuation center being identified has been prepared both
land and water transportation.

RESOLVED FINALLY, to provide available copies of this resolution and furnish copies to the MDRRMO,
Hon. Mayor Edwin G. Elorde; Hon. Vice Mayor Sylvia B. Elorde and the Hon. Sangguniang Bayan,
Municipality of Bunawan, Agusan del Sur for their referential information.

Approved unanimously.

Approved and adopted this 19th day of January 2017 during the emergency meeting being called for the
purpose.
