2) There are several ways to care for others, such as visiting them, teaching them, meeting needs, praying for them, and ensuring they attend fellowship. Doing so promotes love, unity, and church growth.
3) Failing to care for others could result in their backsliding, for which one will be held responsible before God. Christians must care for newcomers and each other.

TEXT: Matt.25:35-40; Acts 20:28; 2Cor.11:28 From the introductory part of this message, we have seen the need to care for our newcomers and one another in the church. We should realise that Christian life is all about caring for others and not self (1Cor.10:32-33). So, knowing the importance of this message, we shall study how we can effectively care for one another for the well- being of the church. We shall consider the following sub-headings:- 1. Qualification, Evidence And The Reasons 2. The Ways Of Caring And Effect 1. QUALIFICATION EVIDENCE AND THE REASONS Whoever that will be qualified to care for one another must be truly born again (Luke 22:31-32). Simon Peter could not care for others while in his backslidden state; as well, unbelievers cannot; one that is not born again or a backslider will be full of him/herself and will not care for others (John 12:24). When one is born again he/she will know the value of a soul and the will of God; the reason being that such a person will have the mind of Christ and God. 2. THE WAYS OF CARING AND EFFECT We shall care for others by visiting them and also by teaching them to live right, help others to be serious and regular in the church. Also, providing their needs, praying for them and ensuring that they do not miss any fellowship with God (Matt.25:35-40; Acts 15:36; Acts 6:1-4); and the effect will be love, unity and growth in the church (Acts 2:44-47). TOPIC: CARING FOR ONE ANOTHER (PART 1)
TEXT: Psalm 142:4; 2Cor.11:28; Heb.13:1 Everyone should know that our Christian life is expressed by love, whoever that is truly born again will demonstrate it by the love or care he/she has for others (Rom.9:1-3; Rom.10:1-3; 1Cor.13:5). We should begin to care for one another and the newcomers in order to establish them because of the love of God. We shall consider this message under the following sub-headings:- 1. The Reasons And Effect 2. Our Expected Response And The Warning 1. THE REASONS AND EFFECT We all should know how those before lived their Christian life or kept the legacy our Master Jesus Christ laid for us to follow after (Acts 15:36; Acts 2:44-45; John 13:3-5, 13-17). We should know that some people out there are looking for those who will care for them as our Lord Jesus Christ reached out to them during His earthly ministry (Matt.9:33-36; John 5:7-8; Matt.25:34-36-40). So, we should visit our newcomers often to see how they do; we should visit and help one another; and as we do we shall be blessed and make heaven at last; besides, the church will grow and multiply daily (Acts2:46-47). 2. OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE WARNING If we allow the newcomers to backslide because we refuse to visit them and establish them, the Lord will require their blood from our hands (1Kings 20:39-40; Ezekiel 33:6). We should care for one another, help the needy and if we fail to do so, we shall be considered as wicked (Matt.25:41-46). So, we should be warned to sit up and begin to care for one another.
