Clause 1-2-1 shall be as the following:

1-2-1 material: According to clause (3) of IQS 2128:2000 or according to clause

(5-1) of BS EN 13828/2003

Product: a- Polypropylene pipes for drinking water

b- Polypropylene joints with metal part

a- Polypropylene pipes for drinking water

1- Requirements
1-1 Dimensions- DIN 8077
1-2 Impact strength – DIN 8078
1-3 Heat reversion – DIN 8078
1-4 Effect on water – IQS 1462
1-5 Water pressure resistance – IQS 1462
1-6 Radiation contamination: as stated by the authorized entities

2- Marking
The pipes should be clearly marked and in a hard to remove way at distances
of not more than 3 meters along the length of the pipe with the following
information
- Name of manufacturer or trade mark if any.
- Material of pipe and type
- The purpose of use(general or for drinking water)
- Outer diameter in mm and operation pressure with its unit,
(preferably(Kg/  )
- Country of manufacture.
3- Supply
According to IQS 1462

1- Requirements
1-1 plastic part

1-1-1 It shall be of good finishing, free from protrusions and sharp edges and
other defects that affect appearance and performance
1-1-2 Dimensions: DIN 16962/part 8
1-2 metal part
1-2-1 material: Stainless material or cast iron or galvanized carbon steel
1-2-2 thread: according to ISO 7/part 1
2- Marking
- Name of manufacturer or trade mark
- Material of pipe
- Operation pressure and its unit
- Outer diameter of the pipe which is used with the non-threaded part and
nominal diameter of the pipe which is used with the threaded part
