Course Description: The course includes industrial internet of things (IIoT) as the leverage and reality
of IoT in a context of industrial transformation; the power of the Internet of
Things comes from the ability to collect a lot of data and convert that into useful
information; industrial internet of things across major industries; and many
others.

Each session includes learning material readings, writings, activities and


assessments.

Learning Objectives: To be able to understand and define of Industrial Internet of Things; and Know
the applications of IIoT.

Duration: Four Weeks (one session per week which will cover 3 to 5 hours per session)

Session 1. Definition of IIoT [April 22 – 28, 2020]


Session 2. Industrial Internet of Things in Evolution: from Operational Efficiency
to Innovation [April 29 – May 5, 2020]
Session 3. The Industrial Internet of Things in Context [May 6 - 12, 2020]
Session 4. The Industrial Internet (of Things) in Practice: Real-life
Examples/Cases [May 13 – 19, 2020]

Students Requirements:
1. Each student must have a prior basic knowledge about management and ICT.
2. All readings, writings and assessments must be completed.
3. In order to receive a certificate of completion at least average 60% rating must be achieved.
