LUKA MODRIĆ

Luka Modrić is born on 9 September 1985 in Zadar.He is a

proffesional football player.He plays in central midfield but he
can also play at attacking midfilder and defensive midfilder.

Modric childhood was coincided with Croatia war which

displaced his family.In 2002 Modric was signed by Dinamo
Zagreb at age of 16,after showing his football talent at NK Zadar
youth team.Modric was send on loan to Zrinjski Mostar and
Inter Zaprešić.He made debut for Dinamo in 2005 and won 3
consecutive league titles and domestic cups.Modric was named
best player in league 2007 and 2008.Then he moved to Premier
leagueclub Tottenham Hotspur for 16.5 million funtas.That was
a club record transfer.He lead Spurs(Tottenham) to UEFA
Champions League for first time after 50 years,they lost in
quarter final 2010,2011 tournament.In 2002 Modrić joined Real
Madrid for transfer fee of 30 milion funtas.There he helped
team win La Decima and was selected Champions League
squad of season.Modric won 3 Champions League titles,each
time being votes for the squad of the season.Modrić won La
Liga award for Best Midfielder in 2016 for the second time,and
UEFA Club Football Award for Best Midfielder,In 2015 He
became the first Croatian player to be included in FIFPro World
XI,in which he was regularly included until 2019, as well in the
UEFA Team of the Year between 2016 and 2018. In 2018,
Modrić became the first Croatian player to win the UEFA Mens
Player of the Year Award,and by winning The Best FIFA Mens
Player and Ballon d'Or awards.In 2019 he was awardwd for
Goolden Foot for career results and personality.

I play football and he is my inspiration.One day i would like to

have trophies,awards and football matches like him.He is very
good player,he isnt big but he has a heart of warrior.He is a
leader.
