Had better or Should


Both of them are used to give advice.
Even though the structure is in past, the meaning doesn’t refer
to it.
We can say SHOULDN’T, but we say HAD BETTER NOT
Had better can imply a warning sometimes.
Examples:
- You look sick, you should see a doctor.
- You’d better NOT be late to your next class.
