When the tough gets going!

Dear Team,

Humanity did a perfect unlearning and globally, it is seen as a perfect time of many adaptations –
adaptation to new ways of connecting, learning, banking, shopping – in short, a new way of
living! Yes, the tough times brought in by the spread of the pandemic are really a revealer of
many of those inherent strengths – and the current journey of Federals can be a testimony to it!
The perfect understanding of our role in the economy as bankers and the need for being at the
service for the society could not settle us behind. I take this opportunity to thank each one of you
who are out there in this selfless mission.

1. Bank has decided to recognize those special efforts and has come out to thoughtfully
reward the employees with an Out of Pocket Expenses which will be paid for the period
from 23rd March 2020 till the end of the current lockdown.

2. Employees who are attending Branches/Currency Chests & the members of the BCP team
who are working from FKDC - shall be rewarded with an amount equivalent to One Day’s
Pay (BP + DA) for every five days of attending Branch/Office.

3. Employees in other offices who are not covered under Clause 2 above shall be rewarded
with Half day’s Pay (BP+DA) for every 5 days of attending Office.

4. The amount shall be appropriately calculated on a pro rata basis for number of days
attending Branch/ Office (in case it is a fraction of five days).

5. The above support gesture shall be extended to employees up to level IV.

6. The amount shall be credited centrally in a phased manner, the initial one would be up to
31.03.2020. In this connection, Branches/Offices are requested to update the attendance
details in Fed e HRM before 04.04.2020 so that the centralized credit could be effected at
the earliest (refer to HREO Circular No.10113 dated 02.04.2020)

As our MD & CEO has rightly put it, let us Hold On to all the good practices that we have
developed and all those which are being followed by us now. In the coming days of lockdown
also, let us ensure social distancing, stay indoors to the maximum possible extent, take healthy
food and be responsible citizens of the society. Stay Safe.

With all best wishes

Ajith Kumar K K
