Achari Paneer

Ingredients

1. 350gms of paneer cut into 1-inch cubes

For the Marinade

2. Two table spoons of drained Curd


3. One tablespoon of Ginger Garlic pastes
4. 1 tablespoon of Besan flour or Corn Flour
5. One table spoon of Lemon Juice
6. Salt to taste

7.Four Table spoons of oil

8.a pinch of Hing

9.1/2 tsp of Kalonji seeds (onion seeds)

10.1/2 tsp of fenugreek seeds(vendaiyam)

11.1 tsp of Cumin seeds

12.1/2 tsp of mustard seeds

12.1 tsp of Saunf (sombu)

13.2 to 3 Dry chillies

14.1/2 cup of chopped of onions

15.1 ½ cup of chopped Tomatoes

16.1/2 tsp of Garam masala powder

17.1/2 tsp of chili powder

18.1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder

19.1/2 dry Pomegranate powder (Anardhana)

Method- Put the ingredients of the marinade (items 1 to 6) in a bowl add the paneer cubes and
marinate for 30 mts. Heat the 2 tbsp of oil in a non-stick pan fry the paneer on both sides till
crisp and golden brown keep aside in a colander. Heat the remaining oil in a pan add the hing
and all the seeds(onion+fenugreek+cumins+mustards+Saunf)along with the red chillies fry for
about one minute add the chopped onions and sauté till light brown then add the chopped
tomatoes and stir fry till oil comes to surface, season with salt, turmeric powder, Garam
masala,chilli powder, and pomegranate powder, then stir in the paneer.Thats it
