1) Why is the movie called imitation game ?

Because Alan was being someone who he wansn’t only to accomplish his mission to
crack the German code.

2.) What does the movie have to do with Artificial Intelligence?

Alan turing created a test with an AI called Turing Test, turing proposed that a human
evaluator would judge natural language conversations between a human and a
machine designed to generate human-like responses. The evaluator would be aware
that one of the two partners in conversation is a machine, and all participants would
be separated from one another. Also in the movie is the computer that cracks the code
with a series of combinations.

3.) Do you think there are historical inaccuracies in the movie? Cite at least 3 and
explain why.

1 Christopher never existed and the machine wasn’t called like him.
2 Turing never wrote a letter to Churchill, in real life there were a lot of people who
wrote letters to Churchill
3 Turing was very sociable and in the movie he looks like he has a sort of autism.
