Mass media has evolved significantly overtime.

Its goal is to reach the people who activily using the

newspaper, magazines, radio, television and the internet are the common platforms of mass media.
Mass media it's role is for communication since it is a primary needs of every individual. The mass media
is generally the primary source of the newspaper and most people relies with the information to be
aware whats happening in the country. But before the innovation of technology and internet the first
source of the news is the newspaper.

Since, we live in the 21st century a lot of changes happened specially the innovation of technology is
faster than before, newspaper is no longer used and the internet comes in. Although they are in the
same platforms but the internet is the latest and updated adopted by the millennials. So, it wasnt new if
we found out that the mass media is limited if we talk about vocabulary and languages. Although we can
be benifited by the news through mass media. But the important thing is, how this become a
advantages to the people and the learners.

According to the book vocabulary change overtime because words or as complex as acquiring new
grammatical rules. So, if I were to compare mass media and vocabulary, i would go with vocabulary
since vocabulary is the body of words used in particular language. It is our primary means to
communicate with other. So, the question is why linguist considered a vocabulary a superficial level of
influence because we the speakers are one of influencer why there is language changes occur in many
ways. So, since there are changes of langauges this lead to recognition of new dialects and in some
cases, the birth of new languages and the new vocabulary. The reason why linguist choose vocabulary as
superficial of influence because new words leads to new vocabulary made by speakers that may
influence thousand of people.
