Narrative of Mentor Meetings

Meeting 1

Date​: December 12, 2019

What was accomplished during the meeting?
This meeting addressed everything I would need to provide enough evidence to show that this project is
a learning stretch for me. I talked about the requirements needed to receive a passing grade. I mentioned
that I needed to provide evidence, so Dru mentioned that he could photograph some of our sessions and
I could use my Impact Wrap account because it links to my gym account and I can’t record the session
unless I signed in with the gym. I also mentioned that we would need to meet two more times before the
end of the project. We finished this meeting by talking about how I could improve my impact score,
since this was the preferred method to showcase my development.

Meeting 2

Date: February 11, 2020

What was accomplished during the meeting?

We discussed how many more classes I would have to attend in order to work on the project for 15
hours minimum. We also discussed which other classes I could go to, in order to accommodate my work
schedule. We also talked about alternative methods I could use to get a higher Impact Score. Some of
these methods included: punching fast for the first half of the class, then maintaining a decent pace for
the rest; or maintaining a relatively high score for all rounds. Either method I chose, I would be able to
be on track for 120k each class. I decided to average a high score for all rounds, so I wouldn’t be tired
out by the first half of the class.
