Middle of XVIII century, you are fifteen years old, you belong to a

poor family from the countryside, and your father decides to sell
you and give you up in marriage to a rich and unknown foreigner
who is rumored to have a strange and dark past, What would
you do?

This story takes place in Serbia in 1731, where Jasna (the second
of six daughters) lives with her father and her five sisters. Jasna
knows his is a drunken man and he is always complaining about
his bad luck for only having daughters (no sons), even though his
daughters take care of him and do all housework.

One day, they are visited by an unknown landowner. This foreign

man, named Jovan, tells Jasna’s father that he is looking for a
wife for his son, Danilo. In return, he’ll give to him a bunch of
gold coins. Considering his situation, Jasna’s father accepts the
deal.

At first, she doesn’t agree with that deal, but the fifteen-year
young lady must leave with that foreign man to his impressive
family mansion: The Three Towers. That day, Jasna is gotten
married with Danilo (Jovan’s son) who doesn’t want to marry her
either.

In The Three Towers, Jasna feels life like stranger: father and son
have a bad relationship and their mute maidservant seems
detesting her.

People in town hated to all members in that enigmatic mansion,

especially Jovan and Danilo. While Jasna is in town, she discovers
terrible news, her new family has a horrible curse which it
started in the past.
Later, certain people in town start to be found dead. The rest
begin to link related past events and they point out Jovan and
Danilo as main suspects of all those condemnable deaths.

«Mother, don't give me to the one I don't want,

the one who makes my heart happy is the one I prefer.
I'll live in the woods, [I’ll] feed on the hawthorn,
from the river the water [I] will collect bowl by bowl.
And on a cold stone my head [I want to] place
Instead of castles with the other [I want to] inhabit,
exquisite foods [I want to] eat and on the path [I want] to
dream».

This is not a common vampire story, this has a European

historical tradition basement from XVIII century. Its plot turns
around curses, priests and churches. It has a magnificent and
unpredictable ending.
