Modern technology is making young people lazy

It is known for a long time that technology makes us lazy. This saying is true
even today. Now, we live in the time of technology as a medium of almost every single
thing we do. Technology is so advanced now, so we are living in an age where we have
cars that park by themselves, we have cell phones that finish our words, even a
calculator to do our math, is a simple clue that technology makes us lazy. So, what
makes life little easier, that makes us lazier.
The first reason why modern technology is making people lazy is the fact that
they make contact with their loved ones via the internet. "Modern" people use social
media to keep in touch with their friends, family or even their partners. I agree with what
people do and how they do it, but they spend too much time online. It is true that they
should communicate every day, but they are overdoing that. Instead of going out and
having fun, they are sitting on their sofas, getting fat and staring at their screens.
The second reason is that, nowadays, many restaurants offer free delivery on
food and drinks. You just need to press the "order" button and your lunch will be home
in no time. This "reason" is the biggest reason why people are getting more and lazier.
Who would like to make lunch when they can get everything served? Who wants to
wash the dishes after eating, when they can throw away the plastic packing? Also, the
shops. They are offering goods, clothes, toys… online. If you need some formal clothes,
you can order them online without walking for hours in the malls.
Third, and the last reason is that people are no longer waiting in the waiting room
to pay their bills. They are paying their electricity or telephone bill online with just one
touch on their phone or computer. There is no more stress and nervousness and there
is no more arguing with other people because of the waiting line.
Technology has made our lives very easy, but also, has made us lazy. We all
know that if we continue to improve technology, there can be some really useful
inventions. However, we can't guarantee that the improvements will not make us lazier.
Nevertheless, we can save us from being lazier, but still improving our lives in many
other ways.
