Main features This machine is a hydraulic down-acting press brake controlled by electromagnetic Proportional valves. The OPENING and CLOSING foot pedals are pressed to open and close the ram. Punches are installed in the punch holders attached to the ram, and die holders and dies are installed on the bed. The workpiece is laid over the dies, supported by hand, and bent by closing the ram onto the punches. The bend angle of the workpiece depends on the clearance between the Punches and dies. The ram is opened and closed by the hydraulic cylinders installed at the left and right sides. The hydraulic cylinders can be controlled independently to tit the ram. This titing function allows the difference in the bend angle between the left and right sides of the workpiece to be compensated for and the workpiece to be offset bent. The workpiece can also be pushed against the backgauge stoppers to determine its bend line. The machine can be operated with the pendant control box. Side guards Installed on the left and right frame gaps to protect the frame gap inside from damage. When closed, the side guards are secured with magnets. (There are no keys to lock the side guards.) Side guard interlocks Fitted to the left and right side guards. When the MODE SELECT keyswitch on the Pendant control box is set at SETUP or NORMAL, whether or not you can move the ram varies depending on the openiclosed state of the side guards. 1-2 6.
