The development comprises of three block of 17 storey apartment with 5 storey carpark and facilities Icon Consulting Engineers Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the Civil Consultant to provide engineering consulting services for the entire development. 2) Description of The Site In general, the development of this land covers an area of approximately 1.88 acres, which is located at the rapid development area in Sg. Tangkas, Mukim Kajang, District of Hulu Langat, Selangor Darul Ehsan. At present, the site is undeveloped and covered with vegetation. The terrain of the site varies from the lowest level 43.02m at the western comer to the highest level 54.0m at the eastern boundary of the site. 3) Guidelines And Design Criteria The planning and design of the proposed drainage concept and stormwater management system is based on ‘Urban Stormwater Management Manual for Malaysia, 2012 (MSMA 2)' published by Department of Irrigation and Drainage. Storm water from each sub-catchment is channel to roadside drains. The roadside drains are design for 5 years ARI and check for 20 years ARI. Storm water from each sub-catchment will be channelled a On Site Detention on the north-eastern comer of the site. iv.) A rectangular shape OSD tank with the size of 228m x 1.8m x 0.9m height is provided at eastem of the site, boundary between Sewerage Treatment Plant and buffer zone, to cater this 1.88 acres of catchment 5) Proposed Discharge The proposed OSD discharge will be connected existing main drain located at Jalan Pintar. The final discharge point is located at the existing river at Sg Tangkas. 6) Conclusion A rectangular shape OSD tank with the size of 228m x 1.8m x 0.9m height is provided at ground level for this 1.88 acres of catchment. Detail hydraulic design calculation for the drainage and drawings will be submitted upon approval of the layout plan and development order.
