Sarah was walking along the beach when suddenly she saw something sticking out of the sand.

Although
she came closer, she still couldn’t recognize what the strange object was. She yelled for her friend
Matthew to come because she didn’t feel safe as the girl noticed that it’s actually quick sand that can
pull in itself anything. The couple had a strange feeling and as they came closer they saw that the
strange object sticking out of the sand is someone’s phone. They immediately called 911 as they were
positive that someone is under the sand. The police said that they are able to come in 10 minutes.
Sarah, stressed and scared, started to shriek for help, because she didn’t know what to do. Her friend
was brave enough to jump in to the quick sand, which started to pull him in also, but only until it
reached his chest. Matthew was as quick as a flash and was able to locate a person under the sand as
more and more people gathered around to help. Other men helped Matthew to pull the person, which
looked like a woman from the long hair, to safety. Nobody was expecting the victim to be alive after
being so long without breathing. People reacted fast and cleaned her airways, so she could take a
breath. Then people started whispering to each other about the worst. Everyone was in shock and
disbelief and thought that the woman was dead, but not Matthew, whose eyes were as cold as ice whilst
performing CPR on the woman. He was as solid as a rock and wasn’t planning on stopping. The next
moment, police and an ambulance came and realized that the woman had a heartbeat. She was quickly
transferred into the ambulance, where for the first time she opened her eyes.

This incident could have been a disaster if nobody saw the poor lady, who fully recovered and later told
the story of what happened to her. She was very grateful for her hero who saved her. Matthew was
happy to see the woman in good shape. Sarah was still gasping out of disbelief that all of this happened
and she also was very emotional that she has such a good and quick thinking friend as Matthew. The
doctors later told Matthew, that if he hadn’t performed CPR, the woman wouldn’t be alive. The story
then went viral on the news and Matthew was called a hero all over the USA.
