We do not want to add to Scripture what God does not tell us,
but it is possible that the account of creation and the fall of
man could have been recounted to Noah by several people,
including his father, who could have heard about it first hand
from Adam.
Again, the Bible doesn’t tell us this, but it does help us under-
stand how Noah would have been able to know and teach
about it after the Flood.
Adam age 130 had Seth, lived 800, died at 930
Seth age 105 had Enosh, lived 807 died at 912
Enosh age 90 had Kenan, lived 815 died at 905
Kenan age 70 had Mahalalel, lived 840 died at 910
Mahalalel age 65 had Jared, lived 830 died at 895
Jared age 162 had Enoch, lived 800, died at 962
Enoch age 65 had Methusaleh, lived 300, taken to heaven at 365
Methusaleh age 187 had Lamech, lived 782, died at 969
Lamech age 182 had Noah, lived 595, died at 777
Noah age 500 had Ham, Shem, and Japheth
