HEALTH & SAFETY

The main factors that come into the health and safety of this filming production is the machinery
and how to handle them. For example, the plugs create an electricity hazard, as well as cabling risks.
As long as this equipment and plug sockets are safety checked or have been recently, the chance of
accidents is minimal.

ACCESSIBILITY
The Banbury Campus location can be accessed using most modes of transport. There is a car park for
specifically for Banbury college students and visitors. However, there is also a train station and bus
station nearby, with a brief walk from the centre to the college, so can therefore be accessed by
foot.

As the location for this shoot is inside, a member of staff will be needed to allow us inside the
building. As well as this, a lanyard will need to be worn by every member of the filming crew to allow
accessibility inside of the building and around the campus in general.

FACILITIES
There are toilets located on all floors of the media block building (the filming site). There is a café
located just across the road on the right from the media block, still on Banbury college site. The café
serves a variety of refreshments, including vegetarian and vegan options. Otherwise, it is just a short
ten-minute walk towards the centre, where a variety of restaurants, cafes, takeaways and shops
such as ‘Tesco express to provide food.

Seating can be obtained in one of the many media classrooms and computer rooms for personal
purposes if required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
For this production, there is no need to inform the police or other governmental organisations.

Regarding disability access, there is a ramp to use alternatively to the stairs in order to access the
media building. As well as this, there is a lift with the ability to hold 9 people for anybody to enter
the higher floors of the block. However, most of our filming will commence on the ground floor.
