Character importance

Ova: memo’s daughter that tries to prove the innocence of her father. (Protagonist)

Memo: he has a mental disease that makes him act like a child, Ova’s father that was arrested
for a crime he didn’t do. (Round character)

The setting of this story takes place in a cell in Turkish where a man call memo was guilt for the
murder of the general’s daughter when it wasn’t true.

Plot

Exposition: - in a cell in Istanbul, Turkish

- memo a mental disease man

- they live in a poor house.

Rising actions: -The General’s daughter has an accident and she dies.

-Everybody thought that Memo kill her.

-Memo was guilt for murder

-Memo went to jail.

-Ova tried to look for her father.

-Memo told Ova that the giant of the mountain saw everything.

-Ova went to mountain and found a man that told her that he saw everything.

-At first all the prisoners were bad with Memo.

-Ova’s grandmother dies.

-The prisoners help Memo to see his daughter on jail.

Climax: -Even though the general already knew that Memo didn’t kill his daughter he just want
to look for a responsible.

-The general accused Memo and as punishment sent him to the gallows.

Falling Actions: -When it was time of the execution the plans changed

-Another prisoner wanted to switch place with Memo cause he said he was
never going to be happy again even though he was on jail or free.

-Some of the cops help the mayor of prison for Memo’s escaping.

Resolution: -They took memo to his house were it was Ova.
