Mystical Temple of Mahalaxmi (Hedavde)

Mahalaxmi Mandir is very famous situated on banks of the Tansa River situated approx. 20 km
outskirts of Mumbai Maharashtra on Mumbai Ahmedabad Highway. 

This temple has an elaborate story behind it, which states that goddess Mahalaxmi gave darshan to
Param Pujya Guruvarya Dadasaheb, commanded him to take her idol out of the ground and
construct a temple.

It was on 21st February 2020 Mahashivratri Day, The head priest wanted to visit Bhole Nath mandir
but since the crowd of devotees was high he was not granted leave on that day. Sulking internally
the priest kept on praying to Shiv asking kshama as he could not make it to his service. After the
Maharti of Mahalaxmi was in process, Priest could hear someone speaking “ I am here, I am here”.
To his dismay he found the voice come from behind Mahalaxmi idol. He gazed and found his
favourite deity sitting calmly mediating behind Mahalaxmi idol. After the maharti the image vanished
and Shadow of the Shiv Bhole Nath was seen on the wall behind the idol. He was in tears as
Bholenath himself came to meet his devotee. He informed the members of the temple and this news
spread like wildfire, many devotees started pouring in. This was captured by a local news channel
which I am sharing with the group.
