Topic  work.

Nowadays, companies are more interested in solving problems faster as they can, and this
goes hand by hand with technology, because the faster you get the information, the faster you can
work. And companies have more access to their employers thanks to the internet. But at what
point this is an advantage or disadvantage to the employee?

First, I believe this is a disadvantage, because the more access to technology, the more our
employers want to contact us at all times, no matter the day or hour. Although, there is a contract
with the amount of hours we have to work. Therefore, they do not respect family or relaxation
time human beings need to have, in other to continue working the next day.

Secondly, it is a disadvantage, as a call or email from your boss, while you are resting or on
holidays, interrupts your disconaction with work and the worries related. All this, damages the
quality time you can build with your family and with yourself, not being able to disconect and
being always thinking about work and the things you need to do.

Third and last, human beings need to be able to arrived home and not thinking about the
problems or things at work, and that at any time the boss can call, asking you to do something at
that exact moment. Also, thinking you have to be available to anwer. That is not healthy, because
it causes unecessary stress.

In concluction, if employeers are contacting their staff at all times, it is a disadvantage


more than an advantage. As first, you cannot relax at home or on holidays, second, it damages
your quality time with your famiy and yourself. And finally, it causes stress.
