Why are you applying for Financial Aid

I'm an engineering undergraduate student and I cannot pay for this course. My parents are
already under debt for my tuition fee, and they have responsibility for the education of my
younger sister. I really need to do this course as this will help me in achieving my career
goals. I can ask for loans from friends but that will further increase my problems. I don't want
to ask my parents either because that will burden them more. I am working very hard
managing my academics as well as trying to gain knowledge from wherever possible and I
cannot afford to lose this chance. I am applying for financial aid as I need the certificate to
add in my Resume which otherwise I can’t afford to pay. I hope that after doing these
courses I will be able to get a decent job and then I will definitely try to contribute in whatever
way possible to make coursera more bigger. Whenever I get a job, I will definitely contribute
to Coursera financially. I will spread coursera as good-will ambassador.
I am doing my undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and I have certain interests in the
field of Human resource management. Hence, I would like to explore this field and ultimately
pursue a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) degree. As I am Interested in this
course and its specialization from the University of Pennsylvania as it will help me gain
knowledge in this particular domain of how to manage human’s and provide me an overview
of this domain. Wharton school is one of the business schools in the world, hence it will help
me get more recognition for completing this course. Also learning from an expert in this field
from one of the most reputed business institutions will help me grasp the concepts easily
and do the projects productively. I want to learn how to take maximise productivity of the
business can increase my company’s business when working in that company. This
financial aid is crucial to my further growth in this field, so I request you to kindly grant me a
financial aid so that I can pursue the course and earn a certificate to show to future
employers.

As I am student and here in India there is no concept of student working and studying at the same
time so i don't earn anything and my parents are working hard to pay my college fees, and any
additional loan will burden them badly.
