Refrain:
Celebrant: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
All: Amen.
Greetings
Celebrant: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the
communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Penitential Rite
Celebrant: Brethren (brothers and sisters), let us acknowledge our sins, and so
prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
All: I confess to Almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have
greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and
in what I have failed to do, through my fault, through my fault, through
my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the
Angels and Saints, and you my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the
Lord our God.
Celebrant: May almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to
everlasting life.
All: Amen.
Kyrie Eleison
All:
Celebrant: O God, who sanctify your universal Church in every people and nation,
pour out, we pray, the gifts of your Spirit across the face of the earth, so
that your divine grace, which was at work when the Gospel was first
proclaimed, may now spread through the hearts of those who believe in
you. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with
you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
All: Amen.
When the day of Pentecost came it found the brethren gathered in one place. Suddenly
from up in the sky there came a noise like a strong, diving wind which was heard
all through the house where they were seated. Tongues as of fire appeared which
parted and came to the rest on each of them. All were filled with the Holy Spirit.
They began to express themselves in foreign tongues and make bold proclamation
as the Spirit prompted them.
Staying in Jerusalem at the time were devout Jews of every nation under heaven. These
heard the sound, and assembled in a large crowd. They were much confused
because each one heard these men speaking his own language. The whole
occurrence astonished them. They asked in utter amazement, “Are not all of these
men who were speaking Galileans? How is it that each of us hears them in his
native tongue? We are Parthians, Medes and Elamites. We live in Mesopotamia,
Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus, the province of Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia,
Egypt, and the regions of Libya around Cyrene. There are even visitors from
Rome- all Jews, or those who have come over to Judaism; Cretans and Arabs too.
Yet each of us hears them speaking in his own tongue about the marvels of God
has accomplished.”
Responsorial Psalm: “Send forth your Spirit, O Lord, That the face of the
earth be renewed.
1. O my soul, arise and bless the Lord God, O Lord, in majesty enrobed
with power and eternal might. (Response)
2. You are clothed with splendor and with beauty, O God and heavenly
light is like a cloud that conceals your face. (Response)
3. Like the winds your angels fly before you, As fire and flaming light,
your ministers stand before your throne. (Response)
4. Praise to God, the Father, Son and Spirit, to God who gives us life, our
thanks return, now and forevermore. (Response)
Second Reading: A reading from the first Letter of Paul to the Corinthians.
There are different gifts but the same Spirit; there are different ministries but the same Lord;
there are different works but the same God who accomplishes all of them in every
one. To each person the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
The body is one and has many members, but all the members, many though they are, are
one body; and so it is with Christ. It was in one Spirit that all of us, whether Jew
or Greek, slave or free, were baptized into one body. All of us have been given to
drink of the one Spirit.
Gospel Acclamation:
Alleluia
Gospel Reading
On the evening of that first day of the week, even though the disciples
had locked the doors of the place where they were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came
and stood before them. “Peace be with you”, he said. When he had said this, he
showed them his hands and his side. At the sight of the Lord the disciples rejoiced.
“Peace be with you”, he said again.
(HOMILY)
Profession of Faith
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ,
his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin
Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the
right hand of the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I
believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of
sins and the resurrection of the body and life everlasting Amen.
Celebrant: God is the source of all gifts. Let us ask him to bless those who seek to learn,
their teachers and all those who care for them. In every petition we pray: Send
us your spirit, O Lord.
Presentation Song
Celebrant: Pray, brethren (brothers and sisters) that my sacrifice and yours
may be accepted to God, the almighty Father.
All: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and
glory of His name, for our good, and the good of all his holy
Church.
Celebrant: May the fire of the Spirit, O Lord, sanctify the sacrificial gifts offered in
your sight, just as enkindled the hearts of the disciples of your Son. Who
lives and reigns for ever and ever.
All: Amen.
Celebrant: It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and
everywhere to go give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, almighty and
eternal God.
For you bestow gifts suited to every season and guide the
governing of your Church in wonderful ways.
By the power of the Holy Spirit you come unfailingly to her aid, so
that with a heart always subject to you she may never fail to seek
your help in time of trouble through Christ our Lord.
And so, in company with choirs of Angels, we praise you, and with
joy we proclaim:
Sanctus:
Heaven and Earth are full of your glory, full of your glory
Celebrant: You are indeed Holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness. Make the
holy therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your spirit
upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the
Body and Blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his Passion,
he took the bread and, giving thanks, he broke it and give it to his
disciples saying:
In similar way when supper was ended, he took the chalice and
once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples saying:
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT. THIS IS THE
CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND
ETERNAL COVENANT, WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR
YOU AND FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO
THIS IN MEMORY OF ME.
All: We proclaim your death, o Lord and profess your Resurrection until
you come again.
Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in
the hope of the Resurrection, and all who have died in your mercy:
welcome them into the light of your face. Have mercy on us all, we
pray, that with the blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with
Blessed Joseph, her spouse, with the blessed apostles, and all the
Saints who have pleased you throughout the ages, we may, merit
to be co-heirs to eternal life, may praise and glorify you through
your son Jesus Christ.
Through Him, and Him and in Him, O God almighty father, in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, for ever and
ever.
All: Amen
Communion Rite:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hollowed be thy name; thy kingdom
Celebrant: Deliver us, Lord we pray from every evil, and graciously grant
peace in our day by the help of your mercy, we may be always free
from all the sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed
hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
All: For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and
forever.
Invitation to Peace
Celebrant: Lord, Jesus Christ, you said to your apostles: Peace I leave you, my
peace I give you. Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your
Church, and graciously grant us the peace and unity in accordance
with your will. Who live and reign forever and ever.
All: Amen.
Celebrant: Behold the Lamb of God, behold Him who takes away the sins of
the world. Blessed are those called to supper of the Lamb.
All: Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof but only
says the word and my soul shall be healed.

Hide me in thy wounds
That I may never leave thy side
From all the evil that surrounds me

Bid me come to thee
That I may praise thee

Celebrant: May these gifts we have consumed benefit us, O Lord, that we may
always be aflame with the same Spirit whom you wondrously
poured out on your Apostles. Through Christ our Lord.
All: Amen.
INDUCTION OF OFFICERS
Commentator: We shall now have the rites the induction. Brothers and sisters, today,
God has given us people who have generously committed
themselves in the service of the school. May I request all the
officers to please stand.
Officers: I do.
Celebrant: Do you believe and trust that God will sustain you as you carry on your
mission?
Officers: I do.
Celebrant: Please raise your right hand to promise before God and repeat after me.
Celebrant: Father of love and mercy, we thank you for gifting us generous students
who willingly commit themselves to the service of the Church and
mankind. Today, in the presence of Your church, fill them with Your
love, peace and joy in serving others. May they continue to be the
source of inspiration for others and be models of values and
virtues. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Blessings

Spirit.
