WebEx and Jabber Single Sign-on Changes

This document outlines the steps needed to update your WebEx and Jabber to support single sign-on. These
instructions only apply to PCs running Windows XP or Windows 7 with administrator privileges. If you do NOT have
administrative privileges on your PC, please reference the Windows 7 Non-Admin installation document.

Jabber Changes – What to Do


1. Upgrade your Jabber client to version 9.6 that supports SSO
a. Browse to the following location and download the installer:

%20WebEx%20Install%20Guides/Installation%20Files/CiscoJabberSetup.zip
b. Unzip the software to your desktop.
c. Click Start  Run and type CMD. This will launch a black command prompt window.
d. Enter the following commands in the command window followed by <enter>

cd desktop
msiexec.exe /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi CLEAR=1 TYPE=WebEx SSO_ORG_DOMAIN=amway.com

e. The software will install. Accept all defaults.


2. Log Into Jabber
a. Launch Jabber and enter your NetworkID@amway.com as the userID (aiuxxx@amway.com). This
will only be needed for the initial login.
b. You will be redirected to log in with your
Windows ID and password. This is the ID and
password you use to log into your computer
every day.
c. You are now Logged In!
i. **IF your original Webex/Jabber
account was first.last@amway.com
(i.e. John.smith@amway.com) your
account settings will NOT have been
migrated, so you will need to re-
create your favorites list, update
your image, and let people know
they may need to re-add you to their
contact list.

WebEx Changes – What to Do
1. Update your account settings in WebEx Productivity Tools
a. Select Start>All Programs>Webex>Webex Settings

b. Update your Username and password to be your Windows ID and Password. This is what you
use to log into your computer every morning.
c. Click OK
2. Update your account settings in Jabber
a. In your Jabber client click File  Options  Meetings and update your ID and password.
b. Update your Username and password to be your Windows ID and Password. This is what you
use to log into your computer every morning.
c. Click OK

You are now set for Single Sign-On!
