Baka
Baka
Originated from the province of
Bulacan which involves a minimum of
3 players and a maximum of 10
players. Although kids may adjust the
maximum number of players. It's
objective is for players to successfully
jump over the baka (person) without
hitting any part of the latter's body or
falling over .

No equipment
needed. mobility, stability, and strenth would be put to
test

Mechanics
1. CHOOSING THE FIRST BAKA
All players must place a hand over
another, and would release their
hands simultaneously at the count
of three, either palms up or down.
The player whose hand position
differs from the rest should be the
first baka

2. OBJECTIVE OF THE BAKA

On the first level, baka takes a bend-down kneeling
position and the rest of the players would jump over
him one after another. After all the players have jumped
over, the baka would raise his position higher for the
next level. The cycle would repeat until he reaches the
standing position or until a jumper errs.
3. GOALS OF THE JUMPER
Jumpers must spread their legs wide apart and
must avoid hitting the baka when they jump.
Whoever among them hits or fall over the baka
will take the baka's place and the former baka
will become the new jumper. As the
level gets higher the jumper may opt to
use his hands for balance by putting them
together over the baka
