Signs and symptoms of
appendicitis:
 Abdominal pain is the most
common symptom of
appendicitis. The pain
typically begins near the
belly button, and then moves
to the lower right side of the
abdomen, usually over a
period of 12 to 24 hours.  The
pain often gets worse if the
patient moves around, takes
deep breaths, coughs, or
sneezes.
 Loss of appetite.
 Nausea or vomiting.
 Constipation or diarrhea.
 Low grade fever.
 Abdominal swelling/
bloating.
 Tachycardia.
 Painful urination or frequent
urination.
 Haematuria
