| Indian Overseas Bank To HRMD-IR Section, Central Office Alll Branches, Regional Offices, 763, Anna Salai,Chennai - 600 002 Zonal Offices and other Offices Transient Series File 7(f) Circular No.|4 /2020-21 dated 02.05.2020 Staff : Industrial Relations Banking services to Customers during COVID-19 pandemic Guidelines to ensure Business Continuity Plan Reference is invited to our earlier circular no. 7(f) 7/2020-21 dated 18.4.2020 wherein it was advised that staff members attached to administrative offices will attend office on shift basis in two sessions either from 9 am to | pm or from 2 pm to 6 pm and the working hours of staff attached to branches will depend on the guidelines issued by SLBC. As Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs has announced extension of the lockdown period until 17.5.2020 as a preventive measure against spread of COVID-19, we advise the below guidelines to be followed by staff members attached to branches and other offices. For all staff members attached to branches : The existing system will continue and 50% of the staff strength to work from office, while the remaining will work from home. Rotation of staff working at Office and from home willbe done at intervals of 2 working days. For Executives in the cadre of DGMs and above working at COs/ROs/7Z0s/ZAOs Executives in the cadre of DGM and above, including CRMs/ZMs will attend Office on alll days in shifts either from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm or from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The rest of the time, they will be carrying out their work from home. For other executives / Officers / Award staff working at administrative offices The other staff members attached to administrative offices are advised to work in shifts in two sessions on a daily basis instead of the present system of working at two days interval. The shift timings will be either from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm or from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The Department Heads of the respective offices should ensure that seating crrangements for staff is made in such a way that social distancing is ensured. All the other guidelines given in our earlier circular dated 18:4.2020 shall continue to be effective. The above guidelines will come into effect from 04.05.2020 and will be applicable till 17.5.2020 or until further instructions, whichever is earlier. Please note that any other guidelines / directions issued by Central / State Governments based on the day to day situation, will prevail over all the. above instructions. As per Ministry of Personnel guidelines, staff with disabilities (DIVYANGJAN} have already been exempted from attending office and have been permitted to work from home. As per recent Ministry of Home affairs guidelines, pregnant women staff are also exempted from attending office and are permitted to work from home. This exemption is applicable fill the end of lockdown period ie.17.5.2020. All staff members attending office are instructed to ensure compliance of all the guidelines given by Ministry viz.; wearing of face cover, frequent sanitizing of hands, maintaining social distancing, downloading of Arogyasetu app etc. Heads of Branches / Regional Offices/Zonal Offices/other offices are requested to bring the contents of this circular to the knowledge of all staff members. ) (D Palanisamy) General Manager
