This unit features a single integral Agere IEEE 802.11b radio and industry-standard "Turbo Cell" traffic management for
compatibility and interoperability with ORiNOCO™ and Avaya outdoor routers. It can communicate directly with a COR or
other Mini-CORs in point-to-point or point-to-multipoint configurations.
Advanced features include Inbound and Outbound NAT, DHCP Client, DHCP Server, IP Routing, RIP2, Radius, VLAN,
SNMP, IEEE 802.11b AP, PoE Ready.
Highlights:
Radio Features:
Ethernet Features:
SNMP Remote Management - can be monitored standard SNMP software and the included Hyper-Link Configurator.
DHCP Server - The DHCP Server feature allows computers to obtain their IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Router,
Domain Name, and Domain Name Server directly from the HyperLink Wireless Router.
DHCP Client - HyperLink Wireless Routers are also capable of obtaining its own IP Address information from a DHCP
Server connected to the network.

Outgoing NAT (Network Address Translation) - Outbound NAT allows multiple computers to share a single IP address
to connect to an IP network including the Internet. This allows homes, small businesses, and Internet Service Providers to
have Internet service for all of their computers without having to pay for additional IP addresses. The NAT feature serves
a simple firewall for incoming connections since only traffic initiated by an interior computer is permitted through the NAT.
Incoming NAT - Incoming NAT allows you to redirect requests to the NAT's public IP address(es) to a system that is
using a private IP address behind the NAT. In this way, the NAT enables you to provide Internet access to multiple
computers with a single public IP address, and also to have publicly available servers.
Note: Although this unit supports an unlimited number of users, performance decreases as the number of users
increases, similar to the way network throughput decreases when large numbers of subscribers share the available
bandwidth.
