Everything seemed normal as usual but…

One day the plane instantly fell apart in the air, the cockpit separated from the cabin at an altitude of 10
160 meters.

Vesna Vulovich not only survived the destruction itself. Eventually she turned out to be the only survivor
of 28 passengers and crew after the debris fell to the ground. The plane fell on a wooded area,
moreover, there has recently been heavy snowfall, and this softened the fall. Maybe the girl was saved
by the fact that she lost consciousness as soon as the explosion on board and did not remember
anything else - how she fell, how the peasants from the nearest village found her, how they brought her
to the hospital. When she woke up a month later, she saw her parents nearby and ... asked to smoke, as
if nothing had happened. There was a horrible silence. A few minutes later they told her what had
happened, she fainted.

After that, Vesna had to recover for a long time, as her legs and spine were broken, and there were
other injuries. Nevertheless, later she recovered and finally was ready to fly again. However, the airline
no longer released Vesna into the sky - it became a legend. Got into the Guinness Book of Records, as
having made the highest altitude jump without a parachute.

Vesna Vulovich had an ordinary life. Once she decided for herself not to give an interview on this topic -
because she could not tell anything and did not want to look back at what happened. Moreover, due to
injuries, she could not have children. Therefore, her marriage failed; at the end of her life, she was
alone. Her friends worried that she had not answered the phone for several days. She died at the age of
66.
