In2018 Riley enrolled a a junior in the Pre-Med. Core. one of several vocation-oriented focus areas availabe for unper-lassmen here at Windsor High School. The purpose a the Pre-Med Core is to provide students who are interested in pursuing crcers in healthcare or public health with the knowledge and kil they wll need inorder to be competent and competitive in both educational and work settings after high school. Riley hasbeen an excllent ‘dition to our program. ‘As Riley's social studies teacher Ihave ha the opportunity to observe her abilities asa student 0 evaluate the work she produces in class andat home, and to gauge her character a an individual. 1 have been impressed on all counts. Riley is a dedicated and conscientious student; her class work always shows determined effort and a commitment oleaming. She isa self-directed learner who ‘Works well on her own oe at part ofa collaborative proup. Riley it honest and polite, end exhibit the {ype of genuine integrity that we value so highly in our program. Despite er quiet, focused demeancr, Riley’s personality and presence are very strong: years of team sports and club activities have helped her to become confident and assertive, and she is capable of commanding the attention and respect of her pees Riley is the type of student that makes teachers fee! justified in their choice of carer; she's curious, hardworking an, perhaps more importantly, she's fine human being, She is compassionate and fienly, she works well in a cooperative sting and communicates effectively with others. I believe Riley will be succesful whatever rout she chooses, and I Took forward to Teaming about her sccomplishments.
