What is the deep web?

The deep web is everything that cant be found through search engines on the internet.

Its speculated that it’s 500x bigger than the normal web.

For exemple password protected websites are already considered deep web, like google cloud
in wich you need a certain link that you give so people can acess it

Deep web = Dark web ?

Deep web and dark web are two different things, as i said earlier deep web is something that
isnt acessible through search engines but you can still acess it through your regular web
browser. The dark web is a portion of the deep web wich can only be acessed with special web
browsers, this is where TOR comes in.

Layers of the internet?

There isn’t really a specific number of layers since people havent reached a decision on them
but it is known that the deeper you go the harder it gets to acess, reaching levels that only the
governament can acess using quantum computers, the deepest levels is called the marianas
web

What is TOR?

TOR is a web browser made to acess the dark web, other webrowsers cant acess dark web
sites because they have a .onion domain link instead of the regular .com or .net links

TOR encrypts your data and protects your privacy making cops unable to track you down, it
does this by before you acess a site it connects you to one of its nodes after that it will
randomly chose a path for you to go through it will take you through diferente nodes until you
reach the website. If you connect to a diferente website it will repeat the process sending you
through a diferente path, this makes it very hard to track you down

Why do people use the dark web?

People use the dark web for multiple things, from guns to drugs, everything is on there.
Journalists use this web to try to get information they otherwise cant get, by paying whistle
blowers and talking to people in very strict regimes, this people are very hard to be tracked
down by cops due to the system TOR uses.

Here we can see the hidden wiki, its a page with most of the useful websites and ilegal sites of
the dark web and on the left is , silk road an widely known website famous for selling
everything, but it mostly sells drugs
