At some point in a law student’s life, a time will come when one may

feel demotivated and uninspired. Such is not the time to quit but the time
to take a break from your law school readings and binge watch these
amazing shows.:

Assassination Classroom

Based on the hit manga written and illustrated by Yusei Matsui which
sold 4.5 million copies worldwide, the story follows class 3-E of Kunigaoka
Academy. Notorious and shamed as the class for underperforming
students, 3-E was assigned with a yellow octopus-alien like creature as
their class adviser who has become public enemy no. 1 because of his
Mach 20 speed, indestructible gelatinuous body and a dark mysterious past
the Government will not disclose. Frightened and bewildered, the students
soon discover that they must be able to assassinate their monster teacher,
otherwise humanity as they know it will be doomed.
This anime is best watched after an exam as a great pick me up and
also to raise your fighting spirit for the next days to come. Along with high
level gags that will leave you breathless with laughter and astonishing class
team work schemes, what’s really interesting with the story is how the
narrative can make the viewer believe the impossible plot by backing it up
with real life science (you can google what they are saying and everything
is legit science!) which makes the viewer feel the need to brush up on their
physics and computer science.

Haikyu!!

Haikyu!! is based on the best selling manga written and illustrated by

Haruichi Furudate which has sold 28 million copies worldwide. This is an
anime about the Karasuno Highschool Men’s Volleyball team and
everything a great sports anime should be. It has high quality, smooth
action scenes, on point sound scoring and an underdog to topdog storyline
which is par for the course in shonen anime genre. However, what sets this
anime apart is the believable pace and progress of character development
which is a rarity in new generation sports anime saturating the market
these days. In particular, Hinata Shoyo did not actually become a genius
volleyball player with a vanishing spike. What he did was endure grueling
and endless training and never stopped being hungry for more learning
which is something inspiring for law students who want the same underdog
to topdog law school narrative as well.

Joker Game

War is never a ground combat, but a battle of secrecy, strategy and

misinformation. Joker Game is based on a novel series written by Koji
Yanagi, which narrates the tales of international spies deployed in different
parts of the world during the war. The 12 episode series features a
different agent each episode who narrowly escapes horrific fates. The story
invaluably explains different game theory strategies used in international
espionage and how each information may be used as a weapon in the on
going war. This is a must watch for people who loves puzzles and spy
films, but it may come across as dull for viewers who don’t have the
patience for the explanation of the narrative.
