The cartoon network planned a strategy on broader view point to emphasize the local viewer ship by

launching their content in Hindi dubbing to attract the Hindi speaking audience. The first dubbed
program was “Toon Tamasha” which was received with great gesture by the audience. By February
2000 the Cartoon network was offering nine hours of air time with their popular cartoons of the
time. Later on Tamil dubbing was also introduced which also played amazing role in the viewership
of the cartoon network. By the mids of the 2000 cartoon network reached almost 10 million homes
in India which was great success for them as their competitors in market was trying hard to get this
viewership moreover they also introduced activities with kids which were mostly on air and the kids
used to give their opinion by responding through mails and telephone calls .It was going great Hindi
and Tamil dubbed popular cartoon were Scooby Doo ,Flintstones , swat kits , the mask the Addams
family etc. were the most popular shows of that time. Cartoon network also come up every time
with the new innovative ideas and also celebrates events with the kids which were making more in
demand of their new content and the profit margin was also very astonishing in numbers seen
before like dream Diwali, super-size cinema, cricket tournament, toon hunt, sound machine and
much more these anew content make it the India’s second most viewed channel in no time it was
great success for them to have such an audience and profit margin in such time. And also they were
on air all 24 hours and by looking their viewer ship was also containing adults so they were making
content for the adults too. Lately the Cartoon networks Hindi and Tamil programs were being
criticized by making argument that the original content is more astonishing and the dubbed one is
no at its half and more over the parents also demanded to change the medium to English by which
it will help their children’s to learn some words from the English language. By respecting the
criticism the cartoon network run a pilot programs to see the results effect from the viwer ship the
results were not positive and the rival channel started take part from their their audience so they
realized the success factor of cartoon network is based on the localization the channel. They moved
backed to their previous content with new ideas. Burt the fact of matter was that there were still
large number of people who wants to see the original content not the dubbed one. In order to
facilitate the both viewer ship they should need to launch a new channel which comes up with the
CNs original content. There are now many competitors in the market but the CNs is committed to
their quality of the content which is the main key factor behind the success of the cartoon network
world wide as they changed their strategies with time and demand of the audience which helps
them facilitate the working teams of the organization
