Personal Diet Report

This report pretend show my experience in the weight-loss plan “The Subway diet”, when I read
about this I found it interesting, so I wanted to try it for a week but, I changed some aspects of
this diet because I live in a place where there is no Subway fast-food chain. For this, I prepare
the sandwiches that I used for the diet following the rules of this diet plan. For me, this diet is
good except for the breakfast because I always breakfast so I changed this, the rest is the same or
very similar.

First, breakfast consist in a cup of coffee without sugar and one slice of bread or two
“pandebonos”. Some days when I wake up very early (6:00am), I ate a grain cracker at 9:00 am
or 10:00am. For lunch, at 12:30pm or 1:00pm, I ate a Sandwich with wholemeal bread, chicken
“desmechado” , tuna, or ground pork, with tomato, lechug, cucumber, onion, sometimes sweet
corn and limonate for drink with little sugar. Dinner was a “sandwich” only with a one slice of
bread, some of this meats or egg and cooked potatoes, for drink a smoothie with some fruit like
papaya, mango or pineapple. Between meals, I ate some cookie or nuts.
I omitted cheese and condiments like sauce, mayonnaise or butter.

For me this diet was boring. First, I cooked and to vary or eat some different is difficult, you
don’t know what else to put on the sandwich. Sometimes I ate different things because I was
tired and hungry. Too for me, bread is very tired and I need to eat different things every day.
One benefit is that this diet was cheap.

My ideal diet is a diverse plan, with different recipes and ideas to combine following a caloric
control. Too, you need to provide your body with food and energy, especially if you are going to
exercise. I didn’t exercise because I was busy.

Too, this “Subway” diet is unhealthy because don’t include many important proteins, minerals
and vitamins. I think that you should not stop eating or eating crumbs to lose weight, you just
have to know what you eat and why you eat it, and exercise. Sometime ago, I lost 10 kilograms
in a month jus controlling my food, eating healthy and organic, I omitted sugar of all my foods
and the most important: exercise, jogging is enought. So, you can.
