Simulation Game

As a part of Tarang’19, Management Fest conducted by School of Management Studies NIT

Calicut, we would like to organize a simulation game to check the business decision making
and teamwork skills of the participants in one of the rounds of the event Best Management
team.
Proposed plan

 Each team will be playing the role of a shirt manufacturing company.

 They will be given an initial amount of 50k as working capital
 They will have to hire workers of different grades like Professionals, semi-skilled
workers and freshers.
 Hiring cost will be different as per the grade of the employees
o Professionals-Rs 20k
o Semi-skilled – 10k
o Freshers – 5k
 Each team has to forecast the demand for the next four weeks and allocate the
funds for hiring the employees accordingly.
 The team which invests the minimum with the maximum output will be the winner.
