Safety Manager/Supervisor

Principal Duties and Responsibilities


 Develops, implements and monitors Occupational Health and Safety policy, programs and
procedures.
 Responsible for implementing programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and to
preserve worker’s health and safety.
 Closely monitors workers compliance and accident statistics and implement corrections as
needed.
 Must be able to conduct accident and incident investigations, determine probable causes
and make recommendations for corrective action.
 Responsible to encourage and create a high level of safety awareness within their
organizations.
 Responsible for ensuring that worker understands safe work procedures and is competent to
safely carry out their assigned duties.
 Works with the organizations management team to evaluate and to enforce policy
conformance.

Requirement
 Graduate of Engineering Course (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial)
 At least 3-5 years working experience as Safety Supervisor / Manager
 With BOSH and/or COSH certification, practitioner is an advantage
 Thorough understanding of industry practices, codes and standards
 With good communication and interpersonal skills
