What is coronavirus or covid-19

Coronaviruses are a wide family of viruses that can cause various conditions, from the
common cold to more serious diseases, such as the coronavirus that causes Middle East
respiratory syndrome (MERS-CoV) and the coronavirus that causes severe acute
respiratory syndrome. (MRS). It is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2
virus. It was first detected in Wuhan City, China in December 2019.

It produces flu-like symptoms including fever, dry cough, dyspnea, myalgia, and
fatigue.In severe cases it is characterized by pneumonia, acute respiratory distress
syndrome, sepsis, and septic shock leading to near 3.75% of those infected to death
according to the WHO.
