Over three decades the Trianon Press created near indistinguishable pochoir facsimiles of Blake’s extraordinary illuminated books in all their visionary strangeness and exceptional beauty: The exhibition features a selection of plates from Blake's most iconic works; hundreds more plates at affordable prices are available here in the extended online catalogue. ‘The ‘Trianon Press reproductions are recognized as the finest examples of the art of facsimile reproduction; working closely from Blake’s original illuminated works, each leaf is faithfully handcolored through stencils to achieve an astonishing exactitude. Still the best facsimiles available, the prints are of such quality that they can scarcely be distinguished from the original works, making accessible the visions of Blake that most of us would otherwise never see. Featured works currently on exhibit are available framed, and will be delivered following the close of the exhibition on July 28th.
