1. Introduction

In this section the researcher writes a short text where the basic aspects of the research are
described. It must include a short description of the problem, a brief justification, a short
theoretical frame and the objective of the study. Use a minimum of 300 words and a maximum
of 400. Please include at least 4 references.
2. Problem statement

The HIV opinion has an important psychological impact on the person who receives the
diagnosis, so it is vitally important to carry out a rapid study and make a correct diagnosis of
mental disorders in a patient with HIV, since this will establish the way in which The disease
will be carried away, acting positively in the situation, avoiding both physical and emotional and
psychological consequences, leading to a better quality of life for the patient. It is a daily goal to
improve the lives of these patients and provide them with the option of excellent treatment, since
a high percentage of diagnosed people live in fear and worry and anxiety; the psychosocial part
is the most neglected part in diagnosed patients, the first thought when receiving a positive
opinion is death and the powerlessness to change their plans in the future or even cancel them
torally rather than face and carry the disease (GALLEGO, 2001).

Research is currently focused on the study and improvement in the physiological field, leaving
aside the importance of the mental area and the possible disorders that arise from the main
diagnosis (HIV AIDS) (ARISTEGUI, 2012). The possible changes in their daily routines,
generating high levels of impotence and frustration when feeling that they cannot continue with
future plans; not having knowledge or guidelines on how to deal with this disease generates
stress since the patient sees it as an unsolvable problem, often losing even interest in medical
treatment, this being a trigger for the development of different mental disorders.

When we talk about problem coping we have the theory (LAZARUS, 1986) that tells us about
the changing cognitive and behavioral efforts that are given to handle the problems that we face
(ESTEVEZ, 2004), although it is true that in every patient play different factors such as family,
economic, emotional, the mere fact of feeling their life projects threatened generates stress;
Additionally, it must be taken into account that certain people may have these diseases, but when
faced with something as strong as HIV, it automatically causes the disorders to appear.

Taking into account the different aspects mentioned above, in this work we want to take into
account the main psychological disorders that occur in a patient diagnosed with HIV AIDS, since
they have not been taken into account in the different investigations, since they focus in the
physiological part; If this is achieved, these patients could be treated in such a way that all
dimensions are included.
3. General objective

In this section, you must write a general objective. Please review the Bloom taxonomy to choose
a correct verb (https://www.teachthought.com/learning/what-is-blooms-taxonomy-a-definition-
for-teachers/). Use only one verb. This verb is the one that’s going to allow you to measure if
you accomplish the objective.
4. Specific objectives

Write three objectives, each one with one action that allows to reach the general objective. The
specific objectives must be framed in the action listed in the general objective. Use the Bloom´s
taxonomy.
5. Justification

In this section the researcher explain the reasons why the project must be carried on. After a
literature search, the project must aim to fill gaps in the current knowledge. Please write a
minimum of 300 words and a maximum of 400 words. Include at least 4 references.
6. Theoretical framework

This section can be divided in: conceptual framework, frame of reference and legal framework. It must
contain all the information that allows you to discuss theories and models about your research problem.
This section must contain a maximum of 800 words.
